As part of Jamaican Pulse, a landmark exhibition of Jamaican Art at the Royal West of England Academy [RWA], NT will be showing work. Featuring contemporary Jamaican and diaspora artists based in Jamaica, US and the UK - as well as Jamaican ‘masters’ such as Edna Manley, Everald Brown, Ras Dizzy, Albert Huie, and George Rodney - Jamaican Pulse is the first major exhibition of its kind ever to be held in the UK.
Many of the contemporary artists in the exhibition were featured in the recent Jamaica Biennale. with artwork from a number of public and private collections, including the Jamaican High Commission, London, and The National Gallery of Jamaica, Kingston.
Alongside the exhibition is a full schedule of events, with activities taking place on and off-site, including a satellite programme at The Bluecoat, Liverpool, and closing party at the Arnolfini.

Barbara Walker, Ebony G. Patterson, Hurvin Anderson, Gerhard Hanson, Di-Andre Caprice Davies, Leasho Johnson, Laura Facey, Storm Saulter, Camille Chedda, Shoshana Weinberger to name a few.
